Cruise trends: fleets and infrastructures

Conference organised by Terminal Napoli with the organisational support of Clickutility Team

The cruise sector is fundamental for tourism that has Italy as a pole of attraction  that overcame the pandemic crisis. Looking to the future, a potential infrastructure crisis is emerging for our country. Terminals, accommodation activities, support facilities such as purification plants are rapidly aging, while in sectors such as cold ironing, docks, dredging and infrastructures connecting with the wider tourism system, both inbound and in the ports of disembarkation, there doesn’t seem to be a real focus on making resources available, in the use of existing ones and above all on targeted projects.
