Curated by the Zoological Station Anton Dohrn

Free participation subject to registration

A walk through the Aquarium of Naples accompanied by the reading of excerpts from ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’, the visionary novel that Jules Verne wrote in 1870 and which recounts the adventurous voyage of the submarine Nautilus into the depths of the oceans. Following this, Fabio Trincardi (Sealaska, former Director of the CNR’s Department of Earth System Sciences) will illustrate the technological challenges that man has faced in order to explore the deep sea.
